Tailscode Privacy Policy

Effective July 16, 2026

The short version: Tailscode collects nothing. There is no middleman between you and your machines, so there is nothing for us to see, store, or share.

Nothing is collected

Tailscode collects nothing. No analytics, no ads, no tracking SDKs, no accounts, and no server operated by us. The app’s privacy manifest declares zero collected data types.

Your chats and code stay yours

Your chats and code travel directly between your device and machines you own, over your own WireGuard-encrypted Tailscale network. We never see them.

Tailscale API token

The optional Tailscale API token, used for server discovery, is stored in the iOS Keychain and sent only to api.tailscale.com to list your own devices.

Server passwords

Server passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain and sent only to the servers you configure.

Live Activity push tokens

Live Activity push tokens are registered only with your own claude-bridge server, which sends updates through Apple’s push service.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple; we receive no personal information.

Diagnostics

A diagnostic log file stays on-device; it leaves your phone only if you export and share it yourself.
